LETTERS

Late Payment Removal Letter

Often referred to as a goodwill letter, in this letter, you kindly explain why the payment was not made initially and ask the original creditor to remove the derogatory accounts in your report.

Debt Validation Letter

Are you unsure of the accounts reflecting on your credit history? Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) every individual has the right to request that all debt reporting on their report is fair and accurate. You can do so by sending a debt validation letter. If a company can not verify and prove that the debt belongs to you, they can not legally collect from you.

Settlement Letter

When looking to settle an account, it is most beneficial to send a formal letter asking the creditor if they are willing to settle. This letter specifies what amount you can settle for and why you need to settle for this certain amount. There is a higher chance for a settlement to be approved through a settlement letter than through the phone.
